Jing Fang Classics Institute

Jing Fang Classics is an institute committed to the teaching, research, and clinical application of the Han Dynasty school of medicine, aiming to enhance public health worldwide and preserve the Jing Fang teachings of Professor Huang Huang 黄煌.

Our mission is to pass on the Classical teachings of the Han Dynasty through a clinical and objective perspective, under the guidance of Professor Huang Huang 黄煌.

Recently, there has been a growing interest in the study of Chinese Herbal Medicine, which holds a significant place in the Chinese Medicine repertoire. However, many courses worldwide lack high-quality clinical training in the application of the Classics. To address this gap, the Jing Fang Classics Institute was established, bridging the divide by offering comprehensive training in the clinical knowledge and mastery of Classical Chinese Medicine.

In 2006, Professor Salustino Z. Wong 黄仁 began teaching Professor Huang Huang’s 黄煌 Jing Fang method in Italy, Estonia, and Portugal.

To further advance Jing Fang education in Europe, the Jing Fang Classics Institute was established in 2017 by Professor Wong along with collaborators Ana Celso and Raquel Filipe. This initiative led to the revival of Jing Fang courses in Spanish and Portuguese, allowing Jing Fang teachings to spread throughout the Latin-speaking world.

In 2021, Tara Barden began collaborating with the Jing Fang Classics Institute to extend the Jing Fang prescription method training to English-speaking audiences, which resulted in the creation of the English branch due to significant interest.

Today, students from Portugal, Spain, France, Estonia, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, India, and other countries participate in Jing Fang Classics Institute courses.
